MUSCAT : “As part of ongoing international security cooperation between the Royal Oman Police and the Italian Police through the National Central Bureaus, the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation carried out the judicial extradition of a person of African nationality,” the ROP stated.
The individual was wanted by the Italian authorities on charges of participating in a criminal organisation involved in human trafficking and smuggling migrants from several European countries.
