MUSCAT – The Themar Islamic Banking Excellence Awards 2025, organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS), will take a decisive step forward as its high-level jury committee prepares to meet and evaluate nominations on Saturday. The panel is tasked with ensuring a rigorous and transparent assessment of contenders from Oman’s Islamic banking and endowment investment sectors.
Leading the committee is His Highness Dr. Adham Al Said, Assistant Professor at Sultan Qaboos University’s College of Economics and Political Science. He is joined by a distinguished group of experts including Dr. Siham Al Harthy, Chairman of Sama Real Estate Company and Board Member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Ashraf Al Nabhani, former Chairman of the Muscat Securities Market; and Dr. Ahmed Kashoub, Chairman of the Index Center for Economic and Financial Consultations.
The awards will be presented on the sidelines of the Themar Islamic Banking Conference 2025 in Muscat. Organisers say the committee’s deliberations will set a benchmark for transparency and professionalism, reinforcing the awards’ mission to celebrate excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the sector.
