MUSCAT – Transom Handling Company has announced the appointment of Sayyid Nasr Al Busaidi as Executive Director responsible for Travel Retail, Lounge Operations, and Premium Services.
With nearly two decades of leadership experience spanning logistics, retail, and government services, Sayyid Nasr brings a proven track record of driving transformation, building strong teams, and delivering measurable impact. At Transom, he is expected to apply his customer-first, execution-driven approach to redefine travel retail and premium passenger experiences.
Previously serving as Chief Postmaster General of Oman Post, Sayyid Nasr spearheaded a bold transformation that strengthened the organisation’s presence in retail, e-commerce, and government services. His leadership introduced a pioneering private-sector partnership model that expanded access to postal services nationwide. He also placed a strong focus on execution and delivery, ensuring strategic initiatives translated into tangible results.

Under his tenure, Oman Post was recognised globally as a benchmark for service excellence, achieving top-three global rankings in customer care for three consecutive years with a 90% satisfaction rate. The company also ranked first in the Arab region and eighth worldwide for improvement by the Universal Postal Union. Sayyid Nasr’s initiatives secured leading positions in express mail services for three consecutive years, reinforced Oman’s reputation in international logistics and e-commerce, and saw the introduction of last-mile delivery and innovative logistics products aligned with international standards.
Congratulating him on his new role, Transom said it looked forward to his leadership in setting “new benchmarks of excellence and innovation” as the company embarks on its next chapter of growth.
