MUSCAT – The event saw 48 participants competing in a vibrant display of sportsmanship and community celebration.
The tournament was graced by His Excellency G. V. Srinivas, Ambassador of India to Oman, accompanied by his wife Neelam Srinivas. Organisers pointed out that the event aligns with the goals of the Fit India Movement, promoting health and well-being through active participation in sports.
Padel, a fast-growing sport that blends elements of tennis and squash, drew enthusiastic participation from both men’s and women’s teams, with the audience providing energetic support throughout the day.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners in both categories were felicitated by dignitaries and sponsors.
