MUSCAT – These projects are a core part of the nation’s Tenth Five-Year Plan, aimed at boosting healthcare infrastructure.
Underscoring health as a top national priority, and “a fundamental pillar of quality of life”, the Ministry stated that projects under the “Tenth Five-Year Plan are progressing steadily towards enhancing services and strengthening the sector’s infrastructure.”
The ministry highlighted significant progress in the construction of several key healthcare facilities across the Sultanate during the first half of 2025.

- National Center for the Treatment of Blood Diseases & Bone Marrow Transplantation – 95% complete
- Mahout Hospital – 93.7% complete
- Al-Suwaiq Hospital – 85% complete
- Khasab Hospital – 83% complete
- Sultan Qaboos Hospital, Salalah – 66% complete
- Samail Hospital – 50.3% complete
- Al-Nama Hospital, Al-Mudhaibi – 21.9% complete
- Al-Falah Hospital – 11.3% complete
