DOHA : The Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Wednesday received His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in Doha for a fraternal visit marked by solidarity amid heightened regional tensions.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the recent Israeli strike on Doha, which Sheikh Tamim described as a “blatant aggression” against Qatar’s sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security.
The Emir stressed that the attack constituted a grave violation of international norms and laws, calling for concerted global efforts to put an end to such conduct. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed solidarity with Qatar, reaffirming the shared Arab position in rejecting actions that destabilize the region.
