MUSCAT – The water release aims to recharge groundwater reserves and support agricultural activity in the Daghmar and Hail Al Ghaf areas.
The Wadi Dayqah Dam, one of the Sultanate’s key water infrastructure projects, stands 75 meters high and has a total storage capacity of 100 million cubic metres. The controlled release is part of regular water management measures taken by the Ministry to maintain groundwater balance and support rural livelihoods.
The Ministry has urged the public to stay away from the valley during the discharge period and to strictly follow all safety guidelines.
