Muscat: Organised by the Oman Cycling Federation in cooperation with Dhofar Municipality, the tour will feature five races covering more than 700 kilometres. The highlight of the event is the inaugural Dhofar Classic, a 178-kilometre race from Al Mughsail to the Darbat Waterfalls, set against the scenic backdrop of Dhofar’s unique landscape.
Other stages will see riders compete across routes from Ain Razat to Khor Rori, Taqah Fort to Hajif, Al Haffa Market to Ain Ishhat, and Al Dahariz Beach to Wadi Darbat.
Saif bin Sebaa Al Rashidi, Chairman of the Oman Cycling Federation, said the event brings together cyclists from across the Gulf, Arab world, and beyond. He noted that the Dhofar Classic race is the most prominent event in this edition, while the tour represents an integrated platform for promoting tourism and investment in Dhofar Governorate and highlighting it as a global tourist destination.
