MUSCAT – As part of the initial planning phase, the municipality has issued multiple tender invitations for the design, construction, and management of key attractions and events. These include proposals for inflatable games at Amerat Park, the design and construction of traditional Omani sweets kiosks, and the creation of Horror City attractions at both Naseem and Amerat parks. The deadline for submitting bids for these activities is September 9, 2025.
In a separate move, the municipality is also seeking a marketing and promotion partner to execute a comprehensive publicity campaign for Muscat Nights 2026. The tender, open to firms specializing in marketing and event promotions, outlines plans for the festival to run from January 1 to January 31, 2026, across multiple venues in the capital. The bid submission deadline for this promotional contract is September 21, 2025.
Additionally, bids have been invited for the development and management of Kids World, a family-friendly zone that has become a popular feature in previous editions of the event.
The 2026 edition aims to build on the success of the previous festival, which was held from December 2024 to February 2025. Muscat Nights 2025 drew more than 1.7 million visitors and featured over 1,000 small and medium enterprises. The event took place at various locations, including Qurum National Park, Amerat Park, and Naseem Park.
