SALALAH : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, on Wednesday received Dr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, at the illustrious Al-Husn Palace in Salalah.
The meeting came as part of Al-Sudani’s official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, reflecting the deep fraternal ties between the two nations. His Majesty the Sultan and the Iraqi Prime Minister held an official session of talks, during which they reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between Oman and Iraq across various fields — particularly in energy and investment — and explored avenues to develop these sectors for the benefit and prosperity of both peoples.
The discussions also touched on regional and international developments of mutual interest, underscoring the shared commitment of Oman and Iraq to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting stability and growth in the region.
