DARFUR – According to an official statement, massive landslides completely destroyed the village of Tarasin, east of Marra Mountains, killing its entire population – estimated at more than 1,000 – leaving only one survivor.
The landslide occurred on Sunday due to heavy rains that fell in the last week of August.
