Muscat – The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) is set to launch the National Payment Card, a landmark initiative aimed at enhancing financial inclusion, reducing operational costs, and accelerating the growth of Oman’s digital economy.
The card, which will be issued by local banks under the supervision of the CBO and supported by licensed payment service providers, is designed to provide Omani consumers with a secure and seamless payment experience while strengthening the national financial infrastructure.
