MUSCAT – This resolution is issued in accordance with the Social Protection Law (Royal Decree No. 52/2023), its executive regulations as per Resolution No. R/7/2023, and with the approval of the Fund’s Board of Directors, reflecting the commitment to safeguarding the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.
The new resolution clarifies that the retirement benefits related to old age, disability, and death insurance will apply to insured individuals who are eligible for disability benefits, as defined under the executive regulations of the Social Protection Law.
Additionally, the resolution cancels any previous regulations or provisions that conflict with these updated rules.
