Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the declaration during an emergency session of parliament, where lawmakers convened to address Israel’s actions in Gaza. Fidan accused Israel of committing atrocities that he said “will be recorded as one of the darkest pages in human history.”

“We have completely cut off our trade with Israel and we do not allow Turkish ships to sail to Israeli ports or Israeli aircraft to enter our airspace,” Fidan said. He added that Turkey firmly opposes any plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza, dismissing such proposals as “invalid.”

The minister also warned that Israel’s policies are aimed at occupying all of Gaza and dismantling the possibility of a two-state solution. He criticized the international community for failing to act, accusing Israel of pursuing “a brutal policy of starvation” against Palestinians to force them out of their homeland.
