MUSCAT – The project, which is expected to be ready in the next 12 months, will span three kilometres and feature three distinct stations.
The first station will be located at the Muttrah Port, adjacent to the fish market. From there, the cable car will ascend to the second station at the mountain top, situated behind Al Riyam Park. This mountaintop station promises a 360-degree panoramic view of the coastal area, offering breathtaking vistas of the sea and surrounding landscape. The third and final station will be at Hay Al Ward (the Flower Park).
The project is being designed, manufactured, and implemented in cooperation with the international Swiss company ‘Bartholet’, known for its expertise in cable car systems. This collaboration aims to ensure international quality and safety standards for the new attraction.
Project Objectives:
• Enhancing tourism experience
• Promoting economic diversification
• Improving operational and service efficiency
