MUSCAT : Authorities seized over 85 kilograms of hashish and marijuana, along with 70,000 psychotropic pills.
According to officials, the arrests followed a meticulous monitoring and tracking operation that led security forces to the suspects’ vehicle near the shores of the Wilayat of Quriyat. The narcotics, which were hidden at a coastal location, were being prepared for transport with the intent of trafficking and consumption.
The operation uncovered more than 85 kilograms of hashish and marijuana, in addition to 70,000 psychotropic pills. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures against the suspects are now underway.
