MUSCAT – The honourees included students from public and private schools (bilingual), as well as Islamic institutes.
In his speech, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality and patron of the ceremony, congratulated the outstanding students. He emphasised the importance of preserving this great legacy of success and excellence and urged students to continue striving diligently as they enter the university phase.

He commended the efforts made by both by parents and teachers in achieving this distinction, and the support and assistance they provided to these students to reach such distinguished levels of success.
His Excellency urged students to leverage this experience for the next phase by embracing the values of gratitude, managing their time, and setting clear goals, while maintaining balance in their daily lives and focusing on everything that is beneficial and adds value to their journey.
His Excellency emphasised that the upcoming university stage represents a valuable opportunity and an enjoyable journey, requiring good time management and tireless perseverance to build a well-rounded personality; one that is capable of facing challenges and creating opportunities to achieve success and excellence.
Student Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Mandhari from Jaber bin Zaid Basic Education School delivered a speech on behalf of the outstanding students, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for this generous gesture, stressing that this honour serves as an incentive to continue striving for excellence.
The ceremony included a visual presentation titled ‘A Journey of Glory’, which depicted the students’ success stories throughout the academic year. This was in addition to musical performances by students from schools in Muscat Governorate.
Muscat Governorate expressed its pride in its students, considering them the nation’s wealth and the cornerstone of its future. It affirmed its aspiration to see them assume advanced leadership and academic positions that contribute to the progress of the Omani Renaissance under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and help elevate Oman’s position regionally and internationally.
