MUSCAT : The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the Muscat Governorate Police Command and North Al Batinah Police Command, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, have successfully apprehended four masked individuals of Asian nationality on charges of armed robbery.
According to the ROP, the suspects stormed a gold shop in the Wilayat of Seeb, where they threatened and assaulted employees before stealing gold jewelry and cash worth more than 150,000 Omani Rials.
The police confirmed that all the stolen items were recovered and legal procedures are underway against the accused.
