SALALAH : Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Dhofar Governorate, with the support of local citizens, responded to an incident in which a tourist fell while mountain climbing in Jabal Samhan, located in Wilayat Mirbat.
According to authorities, the tourist, described as an avid climber, slipped from a slope in an elevated area, sustaining severe injuries that tragically led to his death.
The Civil Defense and Ambulance Department urged citizens, residents, and visitors to exercise caution when exploring mountainous and elevated areas, particularly during the autumn season.
