Muscat: Football fans across Oman are eagerly awaiting the return of the nation’s premier football competition, as clubs wrap up their final preparations with new signings, fresh coaching staff, and high-intensity training camps. Many teams also sharpened their form during the Autumn Championship, which featured prominent clubs such as Al-Nahda, Al-Seeb, Al-Shabab, Dhofar, and Al-Nasr, alongside the national Olympic squad.
The season opener on Saturday will see Al-Nahda face Sumail at Al Buraimi Complex, followed by a clash between Al Shabab and Ibri at Seeb Stadium.
The action continues on Sunday with Sur taking on Al Nasr at Sur Sports Complex, while Oman Club meets Dhofar at Seeb Stadium. Monday will see Saham go head-to-head with Bahla at Sohar Complex, and Rustaq will host Sohar at Rustaq Complex.

The first round concludes on Tuesday with a much-anticipated matchup between defending champions Al-Seeb and Al-Khaburah at Al-Seeb Stadium.
