YEREVAN – The Omani delegation was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Armenian delegation was led by His Excellency Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During the consultations, both sides reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to further develop relations across various fields.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy expressed his appreciation for the Republic of Armenia’s decision to open a resident embassy in Muscat and to exempt Omani citizens from tourist visa requirements. He also informed the Armenian side of the Sultanate of Oman’s decision to include Armenian citizens among the nationals exempt from entry visas to Oman.
The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
