MUSCAT: The University Medical City (UMC) on Saturday denied rumours regarding its intention to recruit nursing staff from outside the Sultanate of Oman.
In a statement issued, UMC categorically denied the news and stated that the claims circulated on certain social media platforms are entirely false. UMC emphasized that “all recruitment processes are carried out in strict compliance with the laws and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman, in line with national workforce localization (Omanization) plans, and with absolute priority given to qualified Omani professionals.”
“The University Medical City cautions against engaging with any individuals or entities falsely claiming to recruit on its behalf, as such practices may be linked to fraudulent schemes that have already been reported to the concerned Omani authorities,” the statement added.
