MUSCAT : Speaking to the media at his introductory event, Queiroz emphasized that securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup will require “a lot of work, effort, and cooperation from everyone involved.”
“We started working upon my arrival by studying the team and the players from all aspects,” the former Iran and Portugal coach stated, adding that laying the foundation for success begins with detailed analysis and strategic planning.
Queiroz announced that the national team will soon head to Türkiye for a training camp in preparation for the upcoming Central Asian Championship in Uzbekistan.
