DUBAI : The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) confirmed that the tremor caused no damage or disruption.
The NCM reported that the earthquake occurred at 8:35pm UAE time and had a shallow depth of 5 kilometres. While some residents in the area slightly felt the tremor, officials confirmed that there was no impact or structural damage anywhere in the UAE.
The centre assured the public that such low-magnitude seismic activity is not uncommon and poses no threat to the region. No emergency response was required.
