MUSCAT – Environmental protection officers in Dhofar Governorate seized a vehicle bearing Gulf license plate after it was seen driving over fragile green, causing damage to natural vegetation and the surrounding landscape.
A report has been filed against the driver, and legal procedures are underway. The Environment Authority has also released video footage of the incident as part of its public awareness campaign, reinforcing the message: “Nature is not a track for showing off! Encroaching on green spaces harms the ecosystem and threatens the beauty of our country.”
