MUSCAT – The match was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mahad Said Baowain, Minister of Labour, and witnessed the presence of senior officials from the Oman Football Association, along with representatives from various government and private entities.

The match got off to a balanced start, with both teams displaying comparable technical performances in the first half. Despite numerous attempts on goal, neither side managed to break the deadlock before the halftime whistle.

In the second half, both teams performed at a relatively better level than the first, but the score remained negative until the end of the match, which forced the two sides to resort to penalty kicks.
Al Shabab held their nerve in the shootout, converting five penalties to Al Seeb’s four, and securing the Super Cup title in dramatic fashion.

Following the final whistle, His Excellency Dr. Baouin awarded the Super Cup and gold medals to the victorious Al Shabab players, while Al Seeb Club received silver medals during a closing ceremony attended by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters.
