MUSCAT – The safety warning comes as a crucial reminder to both residents and visitors about the inherent dangers of these natural landscapes.
Sharing a video clip of rough sea conditions, the ROP stated: “Avoid getting too close to cliff edges or seaside rocks. Even if the waves seem calm, they can pose a risk of slipping or being suddenly swept away. For your own safety, stay in safe areas.”
The advisory comes amid an increase in coastal foot traffic during the Khareef season, with many visitors drawn to scenic but potentially hazardous locations.
