Muscat: The fatal accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Friday, just past Maqshan, and involved three vehicles. Among the deceased are two Omani citizens and three Emirati nationals. The Royal Oman Police shared details of the incident via social media, confirming that emergency services responded swiftly to the scene.
The crash also injured 11 individuals—two Omanis and nine Emiratis—with five children among the injured. The severity of the injuries varies, according to authorities.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances that led to the collision.
