MUSCAT : According to an official statement released by the Royal Oman Police, the arrests were carried out by the Directorate of Investigations and Criminal Research under the supervision of the Dhofar Governorate Police. The individuals were reportedly involved in acts violating public morals in return for money. These incidents were said to have occurred in cafés equipped with private rooms.
Legal proceedings are currently underway.
