MUSCAT : This surge supports Oman’s pharmaceutical security goals and aims to meet growing demand in both local and regional markets.
Currently, the industrial city is finalising contracts for three new projects focused on the production of eye drops, blood bags, and various medical products. Additionally, a separate project specialising in veterinary products is under construction.

Raysut Industrial City already hosts three operational medical industry projects, spread over a total area of 72,000 square meters. These projects produce antibiotics, hormones, topical preparations, effervescent tablets, solid and liquid pharmaceutical formulations, intravenous solutions, dialysis solutions, medical gloves, masks, cotton, bandages, adhesive tapes, and more.
By attracting investments in the medical industries sector and localising them in Raysut Industrial City, Madayn seeks to enhance pharmaceutical security in the Sultanate of Oman, encourage national and international investments in the medical industries, reduce reliance on pharmaceutical imports, and increase production to meet local needs.
