Gold falls to one-month low amid easing trade tensions

Gold prices today fell to their lowest in more than a month, as easing trade tensions between U.S. and China dampened safe-haven demand.

Singapore – Spot gold was down 0.3 percent at US$3,264.64 per ounce, after hitting its lowest level since 29 May 2025. U.S. gold futures fell 0.4 percent to US$3,275.30.

Spot silver was down 0.4 percent at US$35.84 per ounce, platinum firmed 0.4 percent to US$1,344.63, while palladium fell 0.6 percent to US$1,127.23.
