DUBAI: Dubai-based carrier Emirates announced that it has cancelled all flights to and from Tehran until and including July 5, citing safety concerns due to the current regional situation. The airline had previously faced disruptions on June 23, when some flights were rerouted as a precautionary measure.
Passengers connecting through Dubai with final destinations in Iran will also not be accepted for travel from their point of origin until further notice.
In contrast, services to Iraq are set to resume next week, with flights to Baghdad recommencing on July 1 and to Basra on July 2. Passengers connecting through Dubai to Iraq will be permitted to travel as scheduled.

The regional unrest, which intensified in June following attacks and heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, has led to intermittent disruptions in air traffic across parts of the Middle East.
