Dubai: Dubai Airports has confirmed that DXB is preparing for one of its busiest stretches, with daily passenger volumes expected to exceed 265,000. July 5 is forecasted to be the single busiest day for both departures and transfer traffic.
To manage the surge, an integrated summer readiness plan has been activated in coordination with airport stakeholders to ensure seamless and safe travel. The alert comes as the wider regional situation has triggered some flight delays and cancellations.
DXB is urging passengers to arrive at least three hours before departure and take advantage of smart gates, online check-in, and self-service kiosks. The airport also highlighted the benefits of baggage collection and drop-off services to ease congestion.
