MUSCAT : The announcement was made during the Authority’s annual media briefing, highlighting a year marked by innovation, compliance, and financial sustainability.
In a showcase of progress and ambition, the CAA reported a remarkable 95.95% compliance rate in aviation safety, earning Oman the fifth position globally in the Compliance Index for Effective Implementation of Aviation Safety Oversight.



This operational excellence is matched by advancements on the technical front. The Authority successfully reengineered 113 electronic services, enhancing user access and streamlining aviation-related processes. Additionally, the CAA installed and launched a new Omani Numerical Forecast System, significantly improving forecasting capabilities. A wadi flood indicator model project was also rolled out, reinforcing Oman’s readiness for climate-related events.

Financially, the Authority contributed to revenues of RO 105 million in 2024, a testament to its operational efficiency and sustainable financial management.
