Muscat: Held at the Pine Maritime Exhibition Center in Algiers, the international fair features Oman’s largest-ever delegation to the event, led by H.E. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. The delegation also includes H.E. Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), Eng. Dawood bin Salem Al Haddabi, CEO of Madayn, along with senior officials, business leaders, and representatives from over 60 Omani companies and institutions.
Oman’s participation underscores the growing economic and diplomatic cooperation between Muscat and Algiers, building on the momentum from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq’s royal visit to Algeria in May. The Omani pavilion showcases the country’s economic diversity with companies representing pharmaceuticals, logistics, tourism, fisheries, real estate, food, and SMEs from key sectors such as mining, plastics, and agriculture.
On the sidelines, the Omani-Algerian Economic Forum will highlight investment opportunities in Oman’s logistics, manufacturing, and urban development sectors. The forum will also promote Oman’s competitive edge—ranging from advanced infrastructure and business-friendly legislation to attractive investment incentives.

According to H.E. Al Rawas, Oman’s participation is a significant opportunity to enhance the international presence of Omani businesses and foster lasting partnerships. He emphasized that the OCCI remains committed to supporting the private sector’s global outreach and positioning Omani products in new markets.
Echoing this, Madayn CEO Eng. Al Haddabi stated that the exhibition provides a platform for both nations to explore mutual investment potential and cooperation in priority sectors. He noted the strong representation of SMEs in Oman’s pavilion reflects the country’s focus on economic diversification and regional integration.
During the fair, the Omani minister will also hold bilateral meetings with senior Algerian officials and visit several industrial zones, further strengthening commercial ties and identifying avenues for deeper collaboration between the two nations.
The Algiers International Fair is one of North Africa’s largest economic exhibitions, drawing global participation and thousands of visitors.
