TEHRAN: According to a report by Iran’s official IRNA news agency, the Islamic Republic has begun a “more powerful” new phase of missile and drone strikes targeting Israel. The report quoted General Kiomars Heidari, commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, who stated that “a new wave of fierce attacks by the armed forces, especially the army’s ground forces, with new and advanced weapons has begun and will intensify in the coming hours.”
The attacks reportedly involve hundreds of drones and are part of a broader military operation orchestrated by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and the army.
