MUSCAT – These discussions come amid the ongoing Israeli military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its serious implications for regional security and stability.
His Excellency stressed the importance of intensifying international diplomatic and political pressure to stop this illegal and irresponsible aggression and to implement the rules of international law to restore security, stability and peace.
In a related context, His Excellency reiterated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ ongoing 24-hour coordination efforts to assist Omani citizens wishing to return to their homeland. He noted that the Ministry has allocated direct contact numbers in Muscat and Tehran, based on the geographical distribution of citizens, in addition to the possibility of communicating via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs app or WhatsApp.
