Muscat: The General Secretariat of the GCC, through its Emergency Management Centre, announced that no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in any of the Gulf countries. All environmental and radiation indicators remain well within safe and technically permissible thresholds.

In response to evolving regional circumstances, the Secretariat noted that the Emergency Management Centre has been partially activated as a precaution. This measure is part of the region’s approved preparedness and response plans and aims to strengthen joint coordination among GCC member states.

The activation involves collaboration with relevant national agencies to ensure swift and integrated action. The GCC affirmed that monitoring and early warning systems are actively tracking the situation, and any changes will be reported promptly in coordination with authorities in the member countries.
