DOHA : The airline assured that passenger safety remains its top priority and urged travelers to check flight statuses online.

In a precautionary move, Qatar Airways has cancelled services to multiple destinations in Iran, Iraq, and Syria until further notice. This decision comes in light of the current regional instability affecting aviation operations.

The affected airports in Iran include Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA), Mashhad Airport (MHD), and Shiraz Airport (SYZ).

In Iraq, flights to Baghdad (BGW), Erbil (EBL), Basra (BSR), Sulaymaniyah (ISU), and Najaf (NJF) are temporarily halted.

Meanwhile, in Syria, services to Damascus Airport (DAM) will be suspended until the end of Saturday, June 14.
