TEHRAN : Israel’s military announced on Thursday that Iran has launched a barrage of more than 100 drones aimed at Israeli territory over the past few hours. The action marks a significant escalation following Israel’s recent strikes on Tehran.
“In the last few hours, Iran has launched more than 100 drones toward Israel, and all the defense systems are acting to intercept the threats,” said Brigadier General Effie Deffrin, Israel’s chief army spokesman.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) mobilized approximately 200 fighter jets targeting around 100 locations.
