AHMEDABAD : An ATS official confirmed the recovery on Friday, stating, “It’s a DVR, which we have recovered from the debris.” The device, believed to contain critical footage or operational data, may shed light on the final moments before the Boeing 787 crashed into a residential block near a medical college, claiming hundreds of lives.

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team is expected to arrive on-site shortly to examine the DVR, officials added. The crash, which involved a London-bound flight carrying over 200 passengers, has triggered a multi-agency investigation involving aviation, forensic, and counter-terror units.
