AHMEDABAD : The aircraft was under the command of Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, a Line Training Captain (LTC) with 8,200 flying hours. He was accompanied by First Officer Clive Kundar, who had logged 1,100 hours of flying experience.
An official close to the investigation stated, “The aircraft gave a mayday call to ATC, but after that, no further response was received. Shortly after takeoff, the plane crashed outside the airport premises. Thick black smoke was reported at the site.”
Eyewitnesses near the crash zone reported seeing massive plumes of smoke rising from the scene. Emergency response teams rushed to the location, while aviation authorities began initial assessments to determine the cause of the crash.

First responders rush the injured to hospitals nearby, with the update for the injured still pending as casualties are reported to have suffered serious damage.
Ambulances rushing as sources say that the patients are being rushed to other hospitals and casualties are rushing in with chance of low survival.
