AHMEDABAD : Boeing, the manufacturer of the ill-fated B787 aircraft, released a statement following the tragic incident involving Flight AI171, which crashed shortly after take-off en route to London. The company said it is actively in contact with Air India and is prepared to offer any assistance needed.
“We are in contact with Air India regarding Flight 171 and stand ready to support them,” the official statement from Boeing read. “Our thoughts are with the passengers, crew, first responders and all affected.”
