AHMEDABAD : In an official statement, the Ministry of Civil Aviation announced the resumption of flight services at Ahmedabad Airport following a temporary suspension earlier in the day. The halt came in the wake of a catastrophic incident involving Air India flight AI171, which crashed shortly after takeoff, reportedly causing multiple casualties.
“Ahmedabad Airport is now available for flight operations from 16:05 IST onwards,” the Ministry confirmed in its latest update.
