Muscat: The alert warns of cumulonimbus clouds accompanied by moderate to heavy rainfall, expected to range between 5 and 25 mm. The affected areas include the mountainous regions of Musandam, North and South Al Batinah, North and South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, Al Buraimi, and Muscat.
In addition to rain, the CAA has cautioned the public about associated weather phenomena, including flash floods in wadies and valleys, strong downdraft winds ranging between 20 to 45 knots, reduced horizontal visibility, and possible hailstorms.
