DUBAI: The RTA has announced a game-changing enhancement to its licensing services, offering four new delivery options that cater to varying levels of urgency. Residents of Dubai can now opt for a premium two-hour delivery service priced at Dh50, making it the fastest way to get official documents such as driving licences and vehicle registration cards.
The express delivery service is also available to customers in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah through a same-day option for Dh35. For those in other parts of the UAE, a next-day standard delivery is available at Dh20.
In a move that benefits frequent travellers and residents temporarily abroad, the RTA has also introduced an international delivery option for Dh50, enabling global access to essential documents, including international driving permits.

Customers can access these services through the RTA’s online licensing platform, selecting from the following delivery options based on their location and urgency:
Premium (Dubai only): Delivered within 2 hours – Dh50
Same Day (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah): Delivered same day – Dh35
Standard (UAE-wide): Delivered next day – Dh20
International: Worldwide delivery – Dh50
The availability of each service depends on the booking time and the delivery address.
