NEW YORK: The Omani delegation featured a diverse team of leaders and practitioners representing key institutions such as the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, and the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs. The group also included several individuals with disabilities, underscoring Oman’s commitment to ensuring representation and active engagement of the community it seeks to support.

The visit was designed to explore the American approach to empowering persons with disabilities through programs, services, and inclusive legislation. Through a series of workshops and dialogue sessions with international experts, the Omani delegates gained valuable insights into policy frameworks, technological innovations, and community-driven initiatives aimed at enhancing accessibility and inclusion.
