Muscat: Rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), and local volunteers, discovered the body of the missing citizen. The man had gone missing on Tuesday after his fishing boat capsized in rough seas while he was out with his brother.
The incident prompted an intensive search effort involving land, sea, and air resources. The victim’s brother managed to swim to shore and received medical treatment at Taqah Hospital.
