MUSCAT – Held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, the joint session focused on resolving disputed articles in five key draft laws:
- Anti-Human Trafficking bill
- Draft law on Regulating Communications and Information Technology
- Real Estate Regulation draft law
- Draft law on Collecting State Dues
- Draft law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
The ongoing session began with a review of the Joint Committee’s opinions on the disputed articles. Members from both councils then proceeded to vote on the agreed and amended articles.
