MUSCAT : He was 53. Best known for his role in Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Charlie’ and for founding the influential photography platform Pixel Viilage, Chakyat’s sudden demise has left a void in both the visual and performing arts communities.
A trailblazer in the Indian photography scene, Chakyat began his career as an independent photographer in 2000. Over the next two decades, he became known for his distinct artistic eye and technical finesse, shooting campaigns for top-tier brands and mentoring a generation of creatives through his YouTube channel, Pixel Viilage — a hub for aspiring photographers across the country.
